Syracuse to Life to Books to a Musical and Back
Never did I imagine that the day I met Erin Frankel at Syracuse University would change the trajectory of my life. I was on the grass painting the Eiffel Tower when she walked up and asked what I was doing. Who would’ve thought that decades later we’d be writing and illustrating four books together. This journey has enriched my life on so many levels. I never had children, yet watching all of the colorful characters come to life on paper, I felt like I had. And connecting with children around the world has increased that feeling tenfold. This weekend I sat in awe as our characters came to life onstage. I think it was the happiest I ever felt in my life! I was so blown away by the love and passion of this incredible crew. And the album is amazing! You have to hear the song Enough is Enough! Hopefully this musical will spread to every town around the world and spread our message of kindness. Broadway here we come!
